My academic history began with my elementary. I did my elementary at Arthur Vaillancour School, where I learned music. It was a great experience because they gave to me the chance to know a language that only a few people know: how to read music and how to play it. My musical instrument was the piano. I began to play it in my second year of elementary and I stopped playing it in grade six of elementary. Today, I don’t practice the piano like I did at Arthur Vaillancour, but I play for my pleasure and because I don’t want to lose what I  have acquired in music. After my elementary school, I went to an international program. It was a special program in St-Gabriel school, where I learned to speak English and Spanish. In addition, I did a lot of community service and I learned to open my spirit to the world and how to do school projects with discipline and concentration. In my last year of high school, all the students in the international program had to made a personal project where they showed that they had acquired the rules and the international ways of thinking. I loved my years in this school for a lot of reasons, but the most important was my teachers who were excellent and in particular the one in my last history class of high school. He gave to me his passion for history and it’s because of him that I decided to go in Social Sciences and that I will go in the History program in university.

Today, I’m at the most important point of my life because all the decisions that I chose will have an impact on my future. Two years ago, I chose the Social Sciences program at Lionel-Groulx College to prepare myself for my future career. It’s my last collegial semester and that realy motivates me a lot because that means that I’ll begin university in a few months. School is very important for me and it’s the reason why I give all I can to have good results. I excel at History, Geography and also Anthropology, but I’d like to focus on my English. I’m able to understand this language very well but I also wish to speak it very well. It’s the universal language and it’s very important for my future to learn it. I’ll go in the University of Montreal History program for a lot of reasons but also because of my passion for books. I love to read and I love to learn the pasts of each important person, event or construction. I have chosen this program and  I’m sure to adore my choice.

In conclusion, I hope that in a couple of years I will be a great historian and also, I wish to travel all around the world to see the majestic of the Earth. However, in a future more close to me, I just hope to like university and to be as good as I’m in college.
